Represented a leading producer of packaged bakery food for more than the last 10 years.  The firm has served as national bankruptcy counsel to a leading producer of packaged bakery food and its affiliates.  In that capacity, the firm has done the following:  presented in-house seminars on preparing Proofs of Claim, filing reclamation demands, and defending preference actions; acquired companies out of bankruptcy; defended several multi-million dollar preference actions, and countless smaller actions; asserted reclamation demands, filed administrative expense requests and filed general unsecured claims; reviewed contracts and recommended favorable language in anticipation of bankruptcy; helped obtain membership on creditors committees and represented client on such committees; negotiated several “critical vendor” agreements with bankruptcy debtors.
