Represented a major publicly traded hosiery manufacturer as plaintiff against one of its major competitors in a trademark and trade dress infringement suit challenging the competitor’s hosiery. Obtained a preliminary injunction against the competitor’s infringing package design.  Following a trial, the plaintiff secured a verdict defeating the defendant’s claims of genericness, nonliability, laches, and acquiescence, which was affirmed by the Fourth Circuit.
