Represented Sara Lee Corporation, makers of L’EGGS hosiery, as plaintiff against one of its major competitors in a trademark and trade dress infringement suit challenging the competitor’s hosiery mark and packaging design.  Obtained a preliminary injunction against the competitor’s infringing mark and packaging design.  Following a trial, Sara Lee secured a verdict defeating the defendant’s claims of genericness, nonliability, laches, and acquiescence, which was affirmed by the Fourth Circuit.
